Three days after the assassination attempt in Rrëshen, where Martin Bardhi was the victim and three others were injured, the murder continues to remain without a perpetrator.

Meanwhile, the motive for the murder was revenge, since in March of this year, Martin Bardhi, together with his son, Erindin, fired a gun at the vehicle of citizen Saimir Reçi, the nephew of Kastriot Reçi, who was executed in 2020. Saimir Reçi managed to escape the assassination, while Bardhi was put in handcuffs.

Just a few days ago, he was released from prison. There have been constant conflicts between the Reçi and Bardhaj tribes and it is suspected that even today's murder is related to the clash between the two tribes.
