It seems that crossings by raft from France to England is an old 'method' for illegal immigrants.

As the measures of the two governments tighten every day more and more for the rafts of illegal immigrants, the latter have a new tactic, speedboats.

The Sun writes that the boats are being used as France is investing billions of euros each year to help regulate illegal immigration policies.

In a video 'advertisement' published on Tik Tok, the ship is shown near the shore with passengers and the journey is 'promised' to take up to 45 minutes.

The Sun reports that a total of 45,755 asylum seekers crossed the Channel in small boats last year, with almost half from Albania and Afghanistan.

Meanwhile, the Border Force has operational control of the Channel to deter crossings, with new drones, boats, radars and cameras used to track vessels in the water and identify those piloting them.

"Criminal gangs are keen to evade the authorities. Alongside the new measures announced by the Prime Minister, our Border Force and joint operation working with France must up its game and stay one step ahead. Best chance what we have to solve this issue effectively is to stop the ships leaving France in the first place. The authorities must be alert to this new threat and dismantle the deplorable gangs behind it," said the Conservative MP. Scott Benton.

"By traveling on bigger and stronger boats, the concern is that they could arrive in the UK beyond the usual routes, making detection even more difficult," said Alp Mehmet, head of UK Migration.

"Posts promoting illegal routes to the UK are putting the lives of vulnerable people at risk and funding evil criminal gangs," a government spokesman said.

"The Illegal Migration Bill will change the law so that people who come to the UK illegally can be stopped and then quickly returned to a safe third country or their country of origin" - these are the warnings that come from Britain for immigrants.

Prime Minister Rishi Sunak will travel to Paris tomorrow to meet French President Emmanuel Macron, who will demand increased inspections on beaches near the Calais and Dunkirk crossings. Sunak this week unveiled his Illegal Migration Bill, which aims to stop migrants from seeking asylum or staying in the UK if they arrive illegally.
