The US lobbying contract on behalf of the Democratic Party by an American foundation is officially under investigation!

Gazetasi.al is aware of the official communication between the Chairman of SPAK, Altin Dumani, and the Secretary General of the Democratic Party, Flamur Noka, where the change in the criminal status of the lobbying contract issue is noted.

Within a month, from May 28, when the first communication took place, to June 25, when Altin Dumani's second letter arrived, the change is noticeable.

In the first letter, where he requests the lobbying contract from the DP, Mr. Dumani says that "the Special Prosecution Office is conducting verifications within the framework of the indictable material 141," material that it distributed to the media on April 27, immediately after the news was made public in the media.

While in the second letter on June 24, Mr. Dumani writes that "The Prosecutor's Office is conducting investigative actions within the framework of criminal proceedings 143 and that the object of the investigation is the procedure of negotiation, conclusion and financing of the contract."

It is very clear that from verification, the matter is now under investigation.

After the second letter, the Democratic Party has made the lobbying contract available to SPAK, making it clear that this is not a contract of the Democratic Party, but of an American foundation and was signed with the American lobbying company by Albanian-American Nuredin Seci.

The contract was signed with the President of the lobbying company Continental Strategy LLC, Carlo Trujillo, a former advisor to US President Trump. The daughter of the White House Chief of Staff, Susie Wiles, is also engaged in this company.

SPAK has not publicly explained what data it has found since the verification of the lobbying contract went into investigation, but this is the second time that a DP lobbying contract has been investigated by SPAK.

The first was what was widely known as Lulzim Basha's "Russian money lobbying", but it was closed without any charges being filed. The Democratic Party believes that, just like the first time, the investigation into the lobbying contract by SPAK is being done on behalf of Edi Rama.

Noka told GazetaSi.al that SPAK, even though three years have passed, has taken no action to investigate the McGonigal case and has never summoned Edi Rama.

"Now they are scared of the contract with President Trump's lawyer, because the affairs with McGonigal, cooperation with drug cartels and control of justice are issues that are now being heard in Congress and in the White House," said the Secretary General of the DP.

Flamur Noka told  Gazetasi.al  that the current contract is completely legal and that the DP does not pay a single penny for lobbying.

"I have been officially informed by Mr. Seci about their initiative to assist the Democratic Party and I have given our consent to receive this service, which will be fully funded by the foundation in the USA," said Mr. Noka to Gazetasi.al.

He also clarified that on Friday he was not at SPAK for this issue, but for the electoral crimes denounced by the DP and for which the DP says SPAK sided with the government, not investigating them.
