Vasil Seraj, the master of the Labe song, will no longer sing for Labëria and its people. It is known that he died suddenly as a result of a heart attack.

Seraj has been one of the most beloved voices of Labe polyphony who has never stopped singing.

For the first time, he participated in the Folkloric Festival of Gjirokastra in 1983.

He was from the village of Brataj and had the main role in the group as the receiver of the song. Since that time, Vasil Sera's voice stood out, becoming one of the most beloved names singing Labe songs in the Vlora river area.

Seraj dedicated his whole life to singing.

A tireless contributor over the years and through various song groups, among many friends who were united by passion and love for the traditional song of Labëria.

Never separated from the table of the great song in the ancient fortress of Gjirokastra, from the stone stage of the stone city where since 1983, when he participated for the first time, this year he completed 40 years on stage.

Vasil Seraj, 65 years old, will no longer be a part of the festival, nor of the tables full of songs where he participated, but his voice will always be remembered.
