Albanian passengers continue to face worrying situations while traveling with Wizzair.
Recently, an Albanian missed his trip to Tirana from Dortmund, after WizzAir sold more tickets than the plane's capacity.
He told JOQ ALBANIA that after checking in online, he noticed that the seat was missing from his ticket. Thinking that this would be fixed, he arrived at the airport where he was told to wait for another opportunity if an empty seat became available, but was then informed that he had to wait for a new ticket as there were no seats on the plane.
When he expressed his concern, the passenger was informed by Wizzair staff that the company has the legal right to sell as many tickets as it wants, causing even more dissatisfaction among passengers.
He says that 7 passengers have faced the same problem without knowing what will happen to their fate. This event has caused concern and indignation among Albanian passengers who question WizzAir's service and how this company manages tickets and seats on the plane.
Citizen's complaint:
Look what Wizzair does to Albanians! They sell tickets beyond the capacity of the plane and do not let us in. They told us to wait to see if there would be any empty seats, but then nothing happened. They told me to wait and get another ticket.
This is ridiculous! And the worst thing is that when I was complaining, they told me that they have the legal right to sell as many tickets as they want. How can they treat us like this? I found seven other passengers here who have experienced the same situation and are complaining about the same thing. I checked in yesterday, but I did not get a seat assigned to my ticket. The check-in was accepted, but they did not give me a seat. They sent me this SMS, but they did not give me any other explanation. I have seen many complaints from others, but this is the first time it has happened to me! / JOQ Albania
