47-year-old pimp arrested for exploiting 2 Chinese women for prostitution

A 47-year-old Chinese woman has been arrested by Tirana police after exploiting two other Chinese women for prostitution.

The latter, aged 44 and 46, who will be investigated at large, were carrying out this activity in the apartment where they lived.

Investigations are ongoing to identify other citizens involved in this criminal activity.

Police announcement:

Specialists of the Section for the Investigation of Illicit Trafficking, in continuation of the work to crack down on illegalities in any form of their manifestation, based on information obtained about a prostitution case, have organized and finalized, under the direction of the Tirana Prosecutor's Office, the police operation codenamed "Foreign 3". Within the framework of this operation:       

-Chinese citizen FZ, 47 years old, was arrested for the criminal offense of "Exploitation of prostitution";  

-Criminal proceedings were initiated against Chinese citizens DW, 44 years old, and LC, 46 years old, for the criminal offenses of "Prostitution" and "Maintaining premises for prostitution".   

Chinese citizen FZ exploited 2 other Chinese citizens for prostitution, who carried out this criminal activity in the apartment where they lived.    

Investigations are ongoing to identify other citizens involved in this criminal activity.

The procedural materials were referred to the Tirana Prosecutor's Office for further action.
