Role in Fatbardh Lici's murder, GJKKO extends the imprisonment of Safet Bajri's ex-girlfriend

The Special Court has accepted SPAK's request to extend the security measure of "prison arrest" for Eria Ago, Safet Bajri's ex-girlfriend, by another 3 months.

The 31-year-old is being investigated by SPAK for involvement in the murder of Fatbardh Liç in 2018 in Shkodra, a crime for which SPAK accuses Safet and Behar Bajri, as well as Astmer Bilali.

Ago has been in custody since February of this year, suspected of "supporting the perpetrator of the crime."

The Special Prosecution Office has raised suspicions that she removed Astmer Bilal from Shkodra after Liç's execution, in a "Mercedes" vehicle, which was captured by a security camera in the northern city.

At the end of the 6-month detention period, SPAK requested an extension due to the non-completion of investigative actions, a request that convinced the court.

According to the decision of special judge Erion Çela, Ago's pre-trial detention period has been extended until November 26, 2025.

During the court session, through lawyer Erion Kullolli, Ago requested release from the cell.

The lawyer claimed that there is no proof that his client was in Shkodra on the day of Fatbardh Liç's murder, much less that she was aware of any illegal actions by her acquaintances.

Eria Ago, known as a model and winner of a beauty contest, was handcuffed a few days after Safet Bajri's arrest.

According to SPAK, on ??the day of Fatbardh Liç's murder, Ago traveled from Tirana to Shkodra in the company of Safet Bajri and Astmer Bilali.

After the crime, Safet Rustemi (Bajri) stayed in Shkodra, while Astmer Bilali is suspected of having left for the capital along with Eria Ago.
