The Special Court has set another security measure 'custodial arrest' for Firdeus Berberi, who was extradited from Greece on August 21, 2024.

The barber went to GJKKO today, where the security measure 'arrest in prison' was confirmed, leaving the 23-year-old in a cell indefinitely.

He is accused by SPAK of being part of Laert Haxhiu's group and his role was revealed by the testimony of Artan Tafani, the repentant justice.

According to Tafani, in February 2023, Berberi, in collaboration with Laert Haxhiu and another member of the group, stole a vehicle in Durrës, to use it for criminal events.

The barber is also accused of threatening two police officers during the operation to arrest Artan Tafani in the area of ​​Astir in Tirana. At that time Berberi was wanted for the injury of Johan Muçllari in Pogradec and during this period he was hiding in Tirana.

A security measure has also been assigned to Berberi by the Pogradec court as he is accused of "Intentional murder" remaining in the attempt and "Possessing weapons without a permit". In 2022, the barber injured Joan Muçllari, the son of a businessman in Pogradec.

Berberi was arrested in Greece together with Laert Haxhiu in May 2023 at a time when the latter was considered by the Albanian authorities as one of the 5 most wanted in the country.
