Murder in Astir

While the investigations into last night's murder in "Astir" are continuing with intensity by the Police and the Prosecutor's Office of Tirana, in order to discover the dynamics and motives, the handcuffed suspect, Darmend Keli, 25 years old, gave his first testimony in the presence of the investigators.

After a quarrel with weak motives, due to the harassment of the alleged perpetrator's girlfriend, 34-year-old Amarildo Hoxallari, a name known for law enforcement bodies, due to the precedent of 2015, when he was accused of organizing the failed assassination attempt against Serjani on "Rruga e Kavaja".

Keli confessed and insisted that it was the harassment that Hoxallari did to his fiancee (girlfriend), which denigrated the situation and led to the serious incident. 

" I escorted my fiancee to the parking lot and went up to the house. When I went out to the balcony, I saw that a motorcycle was following him and the person was talking while following the car. I spoke to him from the balcony and then came down. There, Amarildo Hoxallari insulted me and physically hit me. After the collision with him, at one point I hit him with the knife I had taken from home, in the heat of the moment. It was a fight of the moment and not premeditated, I had no intention of killing him ", he testified among other things, defending himself.

The police arrested him minutes after the crime and seized items as material evidence, while the case is being pursued by the Prosecutor's Office, currently under the charge of "intentional murder" and "unauthorized possession of cold weapons".
