The police in New York have closed the investigation into the death of the Albanian couple, who were found dead outside their apartment in the Bronx in August of this year. The authorities have come to the conclusion that the event was a murder and suicide.

This is because, according to the police, 35-year-old Florind Belliu hit his wife Ornela Shehi with a hammer before she fell from the 6th floor of the apartment where they lived, on the morning of August 6.

What remains unclear is whether the 28-year-old fell from the window or was pushed by Belliu, who jumped just moments later.

Just moments before the fall, neighbors said they heard screaming. At the time of the serious incident, the couple's two young sons were also in the house. Neighbors also said that they had heard one of them call "Mom! Mom!", the moment they fell from the 6th floor.

According to the police, the children were not able to provide information that could help the authorities to find out what led to the serious incident. Florind Belliu was an actor by profession.
