The two Belgian tourists who lost their way this Sunday while exploring the mountains of Tirana appear smiling. It was 5:00 p.m., when the capital city police received a notification that 2 tourists from Belgium had lost their way while exploring the village of Kllojkë and as a result had remained isolated on the steep terrain of the mountain.

Immediately, the officers of Commissariat No. 1, in cooperation with the "Eagle" Special Force Sector, the National Public Security Force and community liaisons organized a search and rescue operation. After several hours of intense searching, due to the difficult and steep terrain and the remoteness of the country from the area that can be traversed by vehicles, the authorities managed to locate the two tourists.

"Police and support services have gone to the aid of tourists, giving them first medical aid, as well as providing them with food and clothing. The police of Tirana is maximally engaged in the service of citizens and visitors, and invites them to call the toll-free number 112 for any problems they may encounter," said the police.
