A 61-year-old man from South Korea was arrested near the "Mother Teresa" airport by the forces of "FAST Albania" as he was wanted internationally.

The South Korean with the initials SM was waiting near the airport for his wife who was traveling from Dubai to Tirana.

The court of Seoul in South Korea has sentenced the 61-year-old man to prison for the crime of "fraud under aggravating circumstances", provided by the South Korean Criminal Code.

Citizen SM, in cooperation with several other citizens, has built an international pyramid scheme, which was supposed to reward investors, for buying advertising packages and reselling them to new users.

During the period March 27, 2016–November 7, 2020, these nationals defrauded 2,156 nationals, with a total monetary loss of 40,703,930,904 KRW (South Korean currency) or about 28 million euros.
