The police announce that they have handcuffed a person declared internationally wanted in Durrës.
Ermal (Fation) Skënder Dumo, 39 years old, sentenced by the Italian judicial authorities, to 6 years and 9 months of imprisonment, for participation in a criminal organization and drug trafficking, was put in handcuffs.

"Convicted by the Italian judicial authorities, with 6 years and 9 months of imprisonment, for participation in a criminal organization and trafficking in narcotics, the 39-year-old was captured and arrested for the purpose of extradition.  

The structures of DVP Durres, based on the information provided by the information intelligence, about a citizen wanted internationally who was hiding in the city of Durres, in cooperation with Interpol Tirana, have organized and finalized the police operation coded "Member", for the location and capture of this citizen.   
During the operation, the citizen Ermal (Fation) Skender Dumo, 39 years old, resident of Durrës, was captured by the services of the Special Operational Force. 

The Court of Appeal in Trento, Italy, has sentenced this citizen to 6 years and 9 months of imprisonment for the criminal offenses of "Participation in a criminal organization" and "Trafficking in narcotics", provided for by the Italian Criminal Code.
Following the procedural actions, the specialists of the Narcotics and Traffic Investigation Section arrested this citizen in flagrante delicto, with the aim of extraditing him to Italy. The procedures for his extradition will be carried out by Interpol Tirana, in cooperation with Interpol Rome", announced the police.
