A mosque in Bulqiza is engulfed in flames, causing extensive material damage

An unusual event occurred this morning in Shupenza, Bulqiza, where a mosque was engulfed in flames, burning a large part of it.

According to sources, the fire broke out around 6:00 AM, just 10 minutes after the imam had left the religious building.

Despite the immediate intervention of the fire service and police, the fire was impossible to extinguish, causing significant material damage.

Currently, the police and the investigation team are at the scene to determine the causes of the fire. It is not yet known whether the fire was accidental or intentional, while an expert report is awaited to determine the origin of the flames.
