The General Director of the State Police, Muhamet Rrumbullaku, has dismissed 7 senior officials in the Berat Police from the ranks of the blue uniforms, after the dismissal of the director of the blue uniforms in this district, Edmond Tarkaj.

It is also known that Tarka was reduced in rank for 6 months and transferred to the Security Academy.

These decisions were taken after the discovery of a cannabis greenhouse in Rëz village, Dimal municipality, where 700 crates of cannabis and 8 bags of cannabis bottles weighing 870 kilograms were found.

More specifically, the officers excluded from the ranks of the State Police are:

1. Chief Commissioner Baki Musaku, acting Head of Sector for Crimes, in DVP Berat;
2. Chief Commissioner Sokol Lazaj, acting as Head of Berat Police Station;
3. Commissioner Ardit Hasanbegaj, acting Head of the Crime Section, at the Berat Police Station;
4. Deputy Commissioner Artan Musaj, acting Chief of the Dimal Police Station;
5. Deputy Commissioner Miço Rakazija, with the duty of Specialist for Crimes, at the Dimal Police Station;
6. Inspector Vladimir Toska, Assistant Specialist for Community Policing, at the Dimal Police Station;
7. Inspector Gazmend Sulaj, Assistant Specialist for Community Policing, at the Dimal Police Station.

Also, Rrumbullaku has decided to reduce the rank, for a period of 6 months, for the Deputy Director for Crime Investigation, in the Berat Local Police Directorate, Director Sh. Xh.

In addition, it was decided to give disciplinary measures "Remarks with warning" to 8 police officers. As well as the postponement of the promotion deadline, by 2 years, for 2 other police officers.

The General Director of the State Police, at noon today, conducted a work analysis with the structures of the Berat Local Police Directorate.

Gjatë analizës, Drejtori i Përgjithshëm ka theksuar se pavarësisht se informacioni përmes të cilit u godit veprimtaria e organizuar e kultivimit të kanabisit në sera, në territorin e fshatit Rërëz, ishte tërësisht i strukturave të posaçme për hetimin e krimit të organizuar, në Policinë e Shtetit, mosevidentimi i kësaj paligjshmërie të hapur, nga vetë strukturat vendore të Policisë së Beratit, është tërësisht i patolerueshëm dhe i ndëshkueshëm.

Në zbatim të urdhrit të Drejtorit të Përgjithshëm, Drejtoria e Standardeve Profesionale e Policisë së Shtetit ka zhvilluar dhe përfunduar një hetim të thelluar, në përfundim të të cilit, bazuar në shkeljet e rënda administrative që kanë të bëjnë me përmbushjen e detyrës, ka vendosur shkarkimin nga detyra të Drejtorit të Drejtorisë Vendore të Policisë Berat, Drejtues i Parë Edmond Tarkaj, uljen në gradë për 6 muaj dhe transferimin e tij në Akademinë e Sigurisë.

Gjithashtu, Drejtori i Përgjithshëm ka vendosur për emërimin e Drejtuesit të Parë Kastriot Skënderaj, në detyrën e drejtorit të ri të Drejtorisë Vendore të Policisë Berat.

Në vijim, bazuar në shkeljet administrative dhe në mospërmbushjen e detyrave funksionale, Drejtori i Përgjithshëm ka firmosur përjashtimin nga Policia e Shtetit, për shkelje të rëndë, të 7 punonjësve të Policisë, të nivelit të parë dhe të nivelit të mesëm drejtues, konkretisht:

1. Kryekomisar Baki Musaku, me detyrë Shef Sektori për Krimet, në DVP Berat;
2. Kryekomisar Sokol Lazaj, me detyrë Shef i Komisariatit të Policisë Berat;
3. Komisar Ardit Hasanbegaj, me detyrë Shef i Seksionit për Krimet, në Komisariatin e Policisë Berat;
4. Nënkomisar Artan Musaj, me detyrë Shef i Stacionit të Policisë Dimal;
5. Nënkomisar Miço Rakazija, me detyrë Specialist për Krimet, në Stacionin e Policisë Dimal;
6. Inspektor Vladimir Toska, me detyrë Ndihmësspecialist për Policimin në Komunitet, në Stacionin e Policisë Dimal;
7. Inspektor Gazmend Sulaj, me detyrë Ndihmësspecialist për Policimin në Komunitet, në Stacionin e Policisë Dimal.

-Është vendosur ulja në gradë, për një periudhë 6-mujore, për zëvendësdrejtorin për Hetimin e Krimeve, në Drejtorinë Vendore të Policisë Berat, Drejtues Sh. Xh.

-Është vendosur dhënia e masave disiplinore “Vërejtje me paralajmërim”, për 8 punonjës policie.

-Është vendosur shtyrja e afatit të gradimit, me 2 vjet, për 2 punonjës të tjerë policie.

Në fund të analizës, Drejtori i Përgjithshëm ka kërkuar nga të gjitha strukturat e Policisë në qarkun Berat, angazhim, përkushtim, profesionalizëm, bashkëpunim me qytetarët, performancë, reagim në kohë dhe zgjidhje të problematikave në bazë të kompetencave që iu jep ligji.
