The GJKKO panel has withdrawn its decision regarding the arrest measures against Mayor Erion Veliaj, his wife, Ajola Xoxa, and 6 businessmen accused of building a corrupt scheme for illegal benefit of public funds.

The hearing lasted over six hours, and it was reported that there was even a moment of intense conflict between Veliaj and the prosecutor in his case, Olsi Dado.

Both Veliaj and Xoxa have requested the lifting of security measures against them.

Almost the entire time, outside the SPAK premises, a protest was held by several citizens in support of Veliaj. The session was held behind closed doors and without the presence of cameras.

The precautions are:

Erion Veliaj - Arrest with Prison

Ajola Xoxa - House arrest

Elman Abule - Arrest in prison

Gentian Sula - Obligation to appear

Fatmir Bektashi - Obligation to appear

Sokol Kryeziu - Mandatory appearance

Meriman Palushi - Obligation to appear

Field Excellence - Submission Obligation
