Renowned singer Çiljeta Xhilaga has joined the protest in front of SPAK in support of Mayor Erion Veliaj.

Çiljeta arrived this afternoon in front of SPAK, where a large group of people have gathered since the early hours of the morning demanding Veliaj's release.

They say that SPAK's measure against Veliaj of "prison arrest" is extreme. SPAK accuses Veliaj of corruption and concealment of money in nine cases.

The session is still continuing behind closed doors and without the presence of cameras.
