A group of protesters has gathered again in front of SPAK, as the hearing against Mayor Erion Veliaj continues.

Veliaj's supporters, with banners in their hands, have been standing in front of the SPAK premises since the early hours of the morning, then left to reconvene again this afternoon.

They say that the measure of imprisonment against Veliaj is extreme, while appreciating the work he has done as mayor of Tirana.

Earlier, inside the courtroom, it was reported that Veliaj had a strong clash with the prosecutor in his case, Olsi Dado, whom the mayor accused of having a conflict of interest after requesting and receiving a building permit from him.
