Nine people were injured in the animal market in Prizren, after it is suspected that one person threw a hand grenade after a dispute he had with someone else.

This has been confirmed by the Kosovo Police, where according to it all the injured have been sent to the Emergency of the Regional Hospital of Prizren.

The three suspects have been identified and are being sought by the police.

" Today, on 22.11.2023, around 04:50, the Police received information about an injury case at the animal market in Prizren. From the first information, it is suspected that 9 people suffered injuries from the explosion of a hand grenade. All the injured are in the Emergency of the Regional Hospital of Prizren receiving medical treatment.

The police came to the scene and the guardian prosecutor was also informed. The regional investigation unit of Prizren has also arrived at the scene and is collecting evidence and testimonies. Three suspects have been identified and are being sought by the police ," said the spokesperson of the Police in the Prizren region, Vesel Gashi.
