Fiks Fare took a close look at the road segment Durrës - Shijak after the complaint that the citizens made to this newsroom. The outraged drivers expressed their displeasure and the long queues they had to wait in traffic, plus the condition of the road which, according to them, was destroying their cars.

In Fiksi's observation, the condition of the road, the traffic was seen, but above all, it was seen that there were no signs in this road segment to inform that there were works on the road. Their absence, the residents say, has become worrying, as as a result accidents have increased on this axis. During the night, the axis was even more difficult to describe and most of the accidents happened at night, residents claimed. Fiksi was interested in the Rrashbull Administrative Unit, where the chairman Mr. Albert Bukaçi was not aware of the problem that Fiksi and the citizens reported. He stated that he should seek an account and information on the condition of the Fiksi road from the subcontractor who is dealing with the construction of the railway, as well as from the ARRSH.

Fiks Fare was contacted by the Albanian Road Authority, which in its answer addresses the solution of this problem to the General Directorate of Railways. According to ARRSH, "signals announcing the works for the railway and the Traffic Management Plan are part of the obligations that must be fulfilled by the contractor who performs the works in order to ensure the lives of road users".

Fiks Fare also addressed the Albanian Railways to get an answer on the reason for leaving the Durrës-Shijak axis in that state.

In its response, the Albanian Railways says that the works for the construction of the Tirana - Durrës railway have not been interrupted, but they are works that are carried out in parts. All these processes take their time and cannot be carried out without interruption, says the Albanian Railways in the response her.

According to them, the road was not left damaged, but the works contractor performed routine maintenance on his part of the contract, the geometric width of the railway track, until the final delivery of the object.

And that it cannot perform road maintenance outside the width of the railway track. While the images brought by Fiks Fare showed the damaged road.

After the intereism of Fiks Fare, the Shqitpare Railway showed that the damaged parts of the Durrës - Shijak axis where the works were being carried out had been repaired.
