New details regarding the tragic event that occurred yesterday in Saranda where a 31-year-old man lost his life as a result of contact with electricity.

The victim, Igli Gjoca, from Bajkaj, Delvinës , was the owner of a car repair shop in the Vrion area, but during the summer season, in the afternoons, he also worked at a bar in Saranda.

Meanwhile, the Saranda police arrested the bar administrator in flagrante delicto in Saranda.

EF, 40 years old, was arrested for the criminal offenses of "Violation of occupational safety regulations" and "Illegal employment".

The incident occurred on Thursday, when citizen I. Gj., 33 years old, resident of Saranda, illegally employed at this establishment, lost his life while performing his duty.

Preliminary investigations suspect that the death occurred as a result of contact with electric current.

Investigations are ongoing to fully document the circumstances of the incident.
