
A 42-year-old man has been arrested in Tirana after a few days ago he stole money from a store by threatening the saleswoman with a knife.
The footage shows Bledjan Shkëmbi, wearing a black mask, taking money from the store on "Kongresi i Manastirit" street and then leaving.
Various security cameras have filmed his itinerary, during which he appears without a mask. It turns out that Shkëmbi has previously been convicted of theft.

A 42-year-old man, previously convicted of theft, was caught and arrested after stealing a large amount of money from a store, threatening the employee with a knife.
The knife and clothing that the 42-year-old allegedly used during the theft were seized.
The services of the Police Commissariat No. 4, in continuation of the work to solve the thefts, identify and arrest the perpetrators, organized and finalized the coded operation "Tools", as a result of which, in cooperation with the services of the Durrës DVP, the following wanted citizen was arrested and put in handcuffs:
-B. Sh., 42 years old, resident of Tirana.
This citizen is suspected of having stolen a large amount of money (daily turnover) from a store on 01.04.2026, on "Kongresi i Manastirit" street, threatening the employee with a knife.
Work continues to document other thefts that may have been committed by this citizen.
The procedural materials were passed to the Tirana Prosecutor's Office for further action.
