Several young people were injured during the protest, allegedly by being shot with rubber bullets. An ambulance arrived at the scene and provided first aid to the injured protesters.
According to footage from the scene, the young men had signs of trauma to various parts of their bodies.
The ambulance's arrival was accompanied by tension, as protesters stopped the vehicle and searched it. This action is related to suspicions raised the day before that tear gas may have been fired from ambulance vehicles.
After checking, the ambulance left the scene with an injured protester inside, to provide him with the necessary medical assistance.
In addition to the protester who was transported by ambulance, another injured person received medical assistance at the scene, specifically on Durrës Street.
According to preliminary information from the field, it was the protesters themselves who requested that the injured be given medical assistance on the spot, without being transported to the hospital.
