The High Inspectorate of Justice has launched a disciplinary investigation against the head of the Saranda Prosecution Office, Kledian Llaho, who has been suspended from duty by the GJKKO at the request of SPAK as he is being investigated by the special structure.

Through a media release, it is announced that the report of the High Inspector of Justice concludes that the behavior and actions of magistrate Kledian Llaho constitute a "serious disciplinary violation" and proposes to the KLP:

On the request for disciplinary proceedings with the measure "Salary reduction of 40% for 1 year" and "Removal from the position of the president", for prosecutor K.Ll.

The High Inspector of Justice has initiated a disciplinary investigation against magistrate K.Ll., in his capacity as Head of the Prosecution Office at the Court of First Instance of General Jurisdiction in Saranda, based on 6 complaints from a magistrate, for disciplinary violations provided for in article 102, point 1 letter “c” and letter “l” as well as article 102, point 2, letter “dh”, of Law No. 96/2016 “On the Status of Judges and Prosecutors in the Republic of Albania”, as amended.

The disciplinary investigation conducted by the High Inspector of Justice results in the following:

• The actions and inactions of the head of the K.Ll. constitute a failure to fulfill, in his capacity as head, the obligations set forth in the law, in particular the duties related to the case management system, in reference to article 102 point 1 letter “l” of law no. 96/2016 “On the status of judges and prosecutors in the Republic of Albania” as amended.

• The prosecutor has repeatedly violated the rules of solemnity, the rules of conduct in relations with other magistrates, in reference to Article 102, point 2, letter “dh”, of Law No. 96/2016 “On the status of judges and prosecutors in the Republic of Albania”, as amended.

• The disciplinary violation was committed with direct intent and its negative impact may extend to the prosecutor's office as a whole, posing a risk of recurrence of events that diminish the image of the prosecutor's office,

• The magistrate has no previous disciplinary measures and has positive professional evaluations.
