A 35-year-old man was arrested by the Tirana police after blackmailing a person.

Arion Hyseni, 35 years old, was arrested in the act while he was taking the money from the 31-year-old he had blackmailed.

He is suspected of having threatened a citizen through his cell phone to get 40,000 euros, in exchange for not publishing the personal communications he had found on the account he had stolen, on the Instagram social network.


The procedural materials were passed to the Prosecutor's Office, for further action, for the criminal offenses "Extortion by means of threats or violence to give property" and "Unauthorized computer access"
