An assassination was carried out today in Berat against 46-year-old Altin Halili, who is an individual with previous criminal records.

Halil, previously convicted of murder, was at the center of the attack when his vehicle was fired upon.

The incident happened in the afternoon, when Halil's vehicle was standing on the road of Dyshnik village. Fortunately, the 46-year-old escaped the assassination attempt without being injured.

The police immediately arrived at the scene, and launched an extensive search to identify and capture the perpetrators of the attack.

Altin Halili was convicted of murder in 1997, when he killed Sokol Kaloshi in Rremas of Lushnje.

Halil was released from prison in 2010 after completing his sentence.

Currently, the police is engaged in investigations to unravel the incident and find the perpetrators of the assassination.

They are looking for clues that could lead to the arrest of the suspects.
