The scandal with toxic waste/Kurum completely closes the Steel department,

Kurum has completely closed the steel department and partially the rolling department. This is made known through a letter that was sent to the Ministry of Economy, but also by Egliver Laloshi, responsible for the Inspection Sector in Elbasan District.

Laloshin informs Balkanweb that the employees, who are not busy with work, turn out to be taking annual vacations.

Laloshi clarifies that officially neither from the subject, nor from the interest groups, nor from the unions, we have any indication, but the Labor Inspectorate has set up a working group, which will be located with an office in the premises of the Kurum company, to inspect closely the situation.

Laloshi said that the subject is active in KKB, it has not suspended the activity, nor has it requested for the suspension of the activity. He said that even from the Taxes branch it appears that the subject in question is in the process of working, that is, active.

The head of the Inspection Sector said that there is no official announcement on what is said about the agreement between the employees and the Kurum entity.
Meanwhile, according to an official letter, it is learned that Kurum has closed the steel department due to the increase in the price of the basic material on international exchanges, while the rolling department has stopped the process due to a defect, while the company is waiting for Chinese experts for the solution of the problem.
