Accused of ordering several murders, Suel Çela appeals prison sentence

Suel Çela, who fled the country, is appealing the first security measure of "prison arrest" which was imposed in May 2023 in the Special Court.

Çela, also known as Marjus Lula, was declared wanted after the testimony of Nuredin Dumani. According to SPAK, he ordered the murder of businessman Lulzim Masha near the artificial lake, a murder that was not carried out.

He is also suspected of having ordered the murder of Elton Kilë. Meanwhile, two weeks ago, the GJKKO imposed another security measure of "prison arrest" against him, as the head of a criminal organization, where he is accused of numerous crimes.

The hearing on the security measure will take place at 1:00 p.m. at the Special Court.
