Shkodra received sad news this afternoon. A 51-year-old man, captain of a boat that was a tourist guide on Lake Shkodra, drowned while trying to save two tourists who had fallen into the water.

After this tragic event, the Municipality of Shkodra reacted, expressing condolences to the family of the deceased and praising the courageous act of the captain, who gave his life to save others.

"Today, the Municipality of Shkodra lost one of its most dedicated people, the captain of the tourist boat, Arben Alamani, who lost his life during a heroic act to save two tourists who were in danger of drowning in Lake Shkodra.
