A tragic event occurred on Tuesday afternoon, July 8, on Lake Shkodra. The captain of a tourist boat lost his life after trying to rescue two tourists who had fallen into the water.

"Around 16:32, a notification was received from the Operations Room that on Lake Shkodra, the captain of the Shkodra Municipality's tourist boat, citizen AA, 51 years old, is suspected of drowning while trying to rescue two tourists who had fallen into the water," the police announced.

Fortunately, the two tourists survived the incident and are in good health.

Meanwhile, authorities are continuing their search to find the body of the 51-year-old.
