Investigation for TEC in Roskovec: SPAK finds no evidence implicating the mayor,

SPAK found no evidence that could implicate the mayor of Roskovec, Majlinda Bufi, in the plans to build the gas-fired thermal power plant in the village of Suk.

For this reason, SPAK declares for TCh that after carrying out the verifications, it has declared its lack of competence, delegating the investigation to the Fier prosecutor's office, which will have to decide whether or not there is a criminal offense.

Majlinda Bufi was accused of two criminal offenses and specifically for falsification of documents and abuse of office


In June, former president Ilir Meta opposed the construction of the TEC, protesting almost a month after the case was entrusted to special prosecutors. This issue was submitted to SPAK in May

It was the residents of the village of Suk 1 who requested the involvement of the Special Prosecutor's Office.

Apart from the mayor Bufi, officials of the regional agency in Fier, Gjirokastra and Vlora were among those who were called.
