Investigations into the privatization of army properties, SPAK seizes the naval

SPAK puts the naval base in Saranda into preventive seizure.

The decision is related to Artur Meçollari's denunciation of the privatization of army properties. For this matter, the former chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces, currently a deputy of the SP, Bardhyl Kollçaku has appeared at SPAK and was interrogated together with Artur Meçollar, his informant.  

The former deputy head of the naval forces, in March 2021, accused all high-ranking officials, including the former Minister of Defense at the time, Olta Xhaçka, and President Begaj in addition to Kollçak.

Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs Xhaçka received a summons from the Prosecutor's Office today, in the capacity of having knowledge of the event. 

The denunciation by Meçollari was made for two properties, one in Shengjin and one in Saranda, which, according to him, were given to private individuals without permission.

After SPAK verified these data, it interrogated and started investigations. Meçollari himself was also present.
