Citizens who have stones in their kidneys and need to bombard them, continue to walk around QSUT since the apparatus that breaks the stones has been broken since October and no one is interested in repairing it.

The waiting list of patients who needed this device was 350, while currently there are 240 patients waiting to have their stones removed.

Some of them have gone to private clinics, where the costs, even though they are high, prevail against the severe and unbearable pain in the patients.

Even so, those outside the microphone say to Tch that the equipment is not repaired in order to transfer patients to private clinics.

Those who cannot bear the pain and cannot afford the costs are forced to perform surgical interventions when it is not necessary if the apparatus would work.
