The Court of Korça has sentenced Joni Mosku to 8 years of imprisonment, who during the day exercised the function of a lawyer, while at the weekend performed the role of a drug courier.

Musk was detained on November 6, 2021 at the customs of Gorica, where, while traveling with his wife and minor daughter, the police found that he was transporting a quantity of 66 kg of hashish drugs.

Together with the lawyer, Ligor Romaçka and Idriz Manej were arrested, as persons who cooperated in the trafficking of the quantity of drugs. For Romačka, the court imposed a sentence of 7 years and 4 months of imprisonment, finding him guilty of the charge of "Trafficking in narcotic substances" carried out in cooperation.

As for Idriz Manej, otherwise known as "Grandma", the court has decided to sentence him to 8 years in prison. At the end of the process, the trio of judges Besnik Shehu, Ervin Sulaj and Thomaidha Roca, ordered that the amount of 114 kg of drugs and a shotgun be handed over to the Korçë Police Directorate for disposal.

In the investigation file, it is stated that the three convicted persons, through their social connections, have increased activity in the field of transportation and trafficking of narcotic substances of the "Cannabis sativa" type.

This transport is carried out from different areas of Albania and then its passage abroad, mainly through border crossing points.

Trafficking is carried out through crossing points from Albania to Macedonia and then to Greece or from Albania to Greece, hiding the drugs in special modified places inside the car.

In the investigative file, it is stated that in order to extinguish any possible suspicion among the police, the lawyer Joni Mosku, on the weekend when he was going to spend the amount of drugs in Macedonia, took his wife and his minor daughter with him.

With the aim of creating the idea of ​​a family trip and was going to Macedonia for a tourist visit. But in fact everything was a detailed plan, since the lawyer Joni Mosku was under surveillance by the police and not only.

He was observed from a distance by the other two collaborators of the group, Ligor Romançka "Golja" and Idriz Manes with the nickname "Gjyshka". Their surveillance continued until the moment when the police found the drugs and arrested the lawyer.

After this moment, "Golja" and "Gjyshka" have decided to get out of the line of cars to cross into Macedonia and leave in the direction of Korca.

But such a movement was noticed by the surveillance agents, who made their stop on the way back, communicating the arrest on behalf of the Korca prosecutor's office./ Ora
