The next hearing in charge of the elected mayor of the Municipality of Himara, Fredi Beleri, is being held in the Special Court.

In this session, the other accused, Pandeli Kokaveshi, who, according to the defense lawyers, is in Athens due to his health condition, was expected to testify.

The lawyer showed a document with an apostille stamp, which stated that Kokaveshi would perform a medical visit planned a long time ago.

In another statement before the Greek authorities that would be made available to the Albanian side, it appears that Kokaveshi did not give his consent to give explanations in this session. In these conditions, it is automatically passed with the reading of his statements, where he denied the accusations.
