A large number of prisoners considered "VIP" were unexpectedly transferred from Durrës prison to IEVP in Fier.

The decision was made after suspicions that in Durrës prison they received privileged treatment, allowing them various favors.

Among the well-known names that have been transferred to serve the sentence or detention in Fier are Lefter Koka, Alqi Blako, Oltion Bistri and Vangjush Dako.

We remind you that after the murder in the prison of Peqin, all institutions serving the sentence in Albania have switched to high security.
