The lottery for the appointment of the judge, who will examine the request of Gazment Bardhi for the exclusion of the relator judge Irida Kacerja from the issue of DP statutes, has ended.

The lottery has appointed judge Edlira Petri to examine the case.

We remind you that today a court session was held regarding the appeal of the DP, where it was postponed to January 17.

Notification:

Today, on 22.12.2022, a court session was held regarding the complaint of the Democratic Party of Albania.

PD representative, av. Rezart Kthupi presented a request signed by the General Secretary of the DP, Mr. Gazmend Bardhi, with which the exclusion of the relator judge Irida Kacerja was requested. As the reason for the exclusion, the intermediate decision of the court was referred to, to present the authorization for representation, in accordance with the norms of the PD statute.
The referring judge did not consider that there were reasons for incompatibility.

The Tirana Court of Appeal, with an interim decision, decided to postpone the hearing to 17.01.2023, at 9:00. Meanwhile, a judge will be assigned by lot to examine the request for exemption, for which you will be notified immediately.
