Filipino Mark Samson wants to send a letter to Ilaria Sula's family to apologize, according to lawyer Fabrizio Gallo, one of the young man's defense attorneys who met the boy in prison this morning.

The 23-year-old has confessed to the murder of the 22-year-old student of Albanian origin who disappeared on March 25 in Rome and was found dead on April 2 inside a suitcase in a valley in Poli.

According to what has been revealed from the investigations so far, the young man killed the girl in his family's apartment in via Homs, in the African neighborhood of Rome, when his mother was at home and helped him cover his tracks.
