The morning of August 9, 2020 in Vaun e Deja was rocked by an assassination attempt. Around 05:55 in the village of Shjeze, Gjin Ndoji (Boriçi) was executed with a bullet in the head .

His dead body was found a few meters away from the " BMW " vehicle, which the victim had rented a few days before the murder, while 3 Kalashnikov cartridges were discovered at the scene. 

Shortly after the assassination, 1 km from the place where the young man was shot dead, a car suspected to belong to the perpetrators was found burnt.

The burned "Benz" type car with license plates AA 346 LC which appeared to have been reported stolen on June 20 of that year in Ishem

Three years later, on July 27, 2023, the SPAK Special Prosecutor's Office informs that it has discovered the suspected perpetrators of this serious crime.

It was the decoded messages on " Sky " and " Encro chat " that the perpetrators discovered and that Ervis Martinaj wanted to kill Ndoji.

It is not known why Martinaj wanted to kill Ndoji. It was Gjoka then, who agreed with Behar Bajri in Shkodër to carry out the execution. 

Even though Bajri asked the killer outside, he was forced to carry out the order himself together with his assistant Denis Brajovic.  

At that time it was said that Ndoji and Bajri were friends and the suspects went to the victim's funeral, drank coffee of consolation in his family. From the intercepted conversations, it seems that Bajri and Martinaj have exchanged their targets.

Bajri eliminated Boric for the interest of Martinaj and the latter would kill Kleant Musabelliu, a murder that Pëllumb Gjoka wanted after Kleant had tried to kill him in 2017. The murder of Kleant Musabelliu was not carried out.
