Two injured after fight in Pogradec, six in handcuffs, another wanted

Pogradec police have arrested six people and have declared another wanted, following a conflict that occurred the day before in neighborhood no. 1 of the city, where two citizens were injured.

The incident occurred in a bar, where several people got involved in a physical fight for weak motives, using hard objects. As a result, citizens M. Xh. and KN were injured, but their lives are out of danger.

Following the investigations, the Crime Investigation Specialists at the Pogradec Police Station arrested the following citizens in flagrante delicto:

M. Xh., 32 years old

AK, 38 years old

D. Xh., 33 years old

E. Ç., 41 years old

N. Ç., 42 years old

KN, 37 years old

All residents of Pogradec.

Also, citizen EA, 21 years old, suspected of being involved in the violent conflict, has been declared wanted.

The individuals in question are being investigated for the following criminal offenses:

"Intentional serious injury",

"Destruction of property",

and “Disturbance of public peace”.

Pogradec Police have stated that investigations are continuing to fully clarify the circumstances of the incident and to locate the wanted person.
