New details have been revealed from the explosion that occurred in the early hours of Saturday morning at the bar (billiard bar) owned by citizen Dhimitër (Agim) Kokonozi in the city of Prrenjas.

Sources inform that according to the Police investigation, a still unidentified person approached the Kokonoz bar and threw the explosive material near the premises. Then, the author left on foot.

As a result of the explosion, only material damage was recorded, where the windows of the bar were broken and several apartments near the bar were damaged.

Sources indicate that on the day of the incident, the "Audi" type vehicle owned by Daniel Kokonozi, son of Dhimitër Kokonozi, was doused with gasoline. It is suspected that the vehicle would be set on fire.

The reasons for the attack on Dhimitër Agim Kokonoz are still unknown. It is known that the latter was the Secretary of the PD in the Prerenjas branch.

The police announced that they have escorted several suspects and, in cooperation with the Prosecutor's Office, the work continues to clarify and fully document the incident.
