New details emerge from the injury that occurred this Wednesday in the village of Bicaj, Kukës.

According to police information, the injured person has been identified as Elvis Halili , while the suspected perpetrator has been identified as Zenel Muçmata .

The latter is known to be a director at the Municipality of Kukës, while the injured man is a cousin of the mayor.

Police say Halili's life is out of danger.

Police announcement:

At around 2:20 p.m., citizen Elvis Halili, around 29 years old, resident of the village of Bicaj, was reported to the Kukës hospital, suspected of being wounded by gunfire, initially out of danger to his life. 

From the first investigative actions, it is suspected that this citizen was injured with a firearm during a conflict for weak motives with another citizen, who has been identified by the Police, but his general information is not being disclosed at the moment, due to the investigation. 

An investigative group has been established and, under the direction of the Kukes Prosecutor's Office, is continuing its work to clarify and fully document this case.
