An employee of the Border Police at the Port of Durrës ended up in the handcuffs of AMP agents.

The Police Supervision Agency, in cooperation with the Durrës General Jurisdiction Prosecutor's Office, has handcuffed officer Besard Xhaferri on the charge of "Abuse of duty".

According to AMP, the police did not search a car that was traveling to Italy, in which two pistols were found.

The Police Surveillance Agency (Durrës-Kavajë Region) has executed the Prosecution Order for the implementation of the decision of the Court of First Instance of the General Jurisdiction of Durrës, which imposed the coercive measure "Arrest in prison" for the police officer Inspector B. XH ., 37 years old, with Controller duties at the PKK Port Durrës Police Station, suspected of committing the criminal offense "Abuse of duty".

From the investigations carried out by the Police Surveillance Agency, it was documented with evidence that this police officer deliberately avoided the control of the Bizarke type vehicle with the EU citizen driver, 45 years old, who traveled on the Durres-Bari line and just got off in Bari, during the search, 2 pistol-type firearms were found.

Investigations continue for the involvement of other police officers in this criminal activity.
