KPA returns the prosecutor of Gjirokastra to school: To attend the
Prosecutor of Gjirokastra, Julian Çafka

The Special Appeals Commission has decided to reinstate the prosecutor of Gjirokastra, Julian Çafka, to the university banks.

The decision was made today, while only a short time ago the Special Qualification Commission decided to confirm him in office.

According to the decision of the KPA, prosecutor Çafka must attend the Magistrate's school for one year.

Decision of KPA:

The panel of judges of the Special Appellate Board, composed of Ina Rama chairperson, Natasha Mulaj relator, Albana Shtylla, Rezarta Schuetz, Sokol Çomo members, announced the decision on case no. 72/2021, dated 23.11.2021, concerning the appeal of the Public Commissioner against the decision of the Independent Qualification Commission no. 442, dated 14.09.2021, related to the subject of the revaluation Juljan Çafka.

At the end of the trial, the court, based on Article E, point 1, of the Annex to the Constitution, Article 44, letter "b" and Article 66, point 1, letter "b" of Law no. 84/2016, "On the transitional reassessment of judges and prosecutors in the Republic of Albania", by majority vote, decided:

- The change of decision no. 442, dated 14.09.2021 of the Independent Qualification Commission, which belongs to the subject of the revaluation Juljan Çafka.

- The suspension from duties of the subject of the re-evaluation Juljan Çafka for a period of one year and the obligation to follow the training program, according to the curricula approved by the School of Magistracy

- This decision has immediate effect.

It was announced today, on 05.04.2024, in Tirana.
