The ambulance driver involved in a crash in Shkodra on Thursday has been arrested by police. According to police, the 65-year-old was arrested for violating traffic rules.

The blue uniforms say that the 65-year-old, driving the ambulance of the Koplik hospital, made a wrong overtaking. As a result, he crashed into a car.

The 57-year-old driver of the car lost his life in this incident, while his wife and daughter were injured. They are in Shkodra Hospital and are out of danger.

" Following the information provided yesterday, regarding an accident on the "Shkodër-Hani i Hotit" road axis, we inform you that the specialists of the Traffic Police Sector arrested citizen PS, 65 years old, for the criminal offense of "Violation of road traffic rules".
