Accident in Durrës, the car hits the policeman on the white lines

A car accident happened this evening in the city of Durrës.

According to preliminary information, a car hit a police officer, while the latter was crossing the road on the white lines.

The ambulance immediately arrived at the scene and transported him to the Durrës hospital, where he is under the care of doctors.

"Around 18:35, in neighborhood no. 8, in front of the premises of the Durrës Local Police Directorate, the vehicle driven by the citizen AF, hit the citizen MA, a police officer at the Durrës Police Station, who was crossing the white lines for pedestrians.

The police officer, citizen MA is in the hospital, under the care of doctors, meanwhile, the driver of the vehicle, citizen AF, has been escorted to the Durres Police Station, for further action", informs the Durres police.

The investigative team is at the scene and is working to clarify the circumstances of the accident.
