15 years after the murder of the "Bardhyl Street" strongman, Franc
Franz Konomi with his daughter

Franc Konomi was part of a group of young people who were considered "strong" in Tirana and practiced law in the 1990s.

One summer day, on July 8, 2010, at 11:20 am, in the heart of Tirana, near the "New Bazaar", the 'strongman' of 'Rrugës Bardhyl' was shot with a hail of bullets.

Franc Konomi was executed with 10 bullets by two assassins on a motorbike. He was found murdered in his black Mercedes Benz.

The moment Konomi got into his vehicle, the two hired killers shot him with a barrage of bullets, leaving him dead on the spot.

And as 15 years have passed since that serious event that shook Tirana at the time, Konomi's widow has made a post on social media.

After the murder of her partner, with whom she has two children, Rovi left Albania.

In a photo recently posted on her social media, Franc Konomi is seen with his little one in his arms, who has now grown up and is even expected to become a mother soon.

Alongside the photo, Rovi wrote that despite the years that pass without realizing it, the longing for the father of her children only grows.

Thanking him for the love they shared, she tells him that his children, just as he wished, are now shining and have found their own path in life.

"We miss you, many people who have respected you miss you, your daughter who will soon become a parent herself misses you. What an emotion at this moment, knowing that your desire was to hold your grandson in your arms. We will remember you for the rest of our lives. Our love was unconditional, but for me the most beautiful. Thank you. I want to say many words, there are no end to the words for you.

"Stay calm, I told you that Rovi will do his utmost to make our children shine. You watch them from afar, I know I'm protecting them down here. The world has become wilder than you left it. May you live in paradise !", writes Rovi.
