The rape of a 26-year-old woman in the city of Vlora by several people is one of the most serious events of these days. Throughout the time, the media have written about public figures, but also relatives of persons suspected of being rapists.
Yesterday, the Minister of the Interior, Taulant Balla, was also at the hospital in Vlora, who stated that he strongly condemns sexual violence and that this will end very soon, according to him.
Toxicologist Suela Xhufi indicated in an interview to the media that the 26-year-old raped woman may have taken the drug GBH, which also caused her to vomit. She explained that this type of drug has the ability to disappear from the body in 24 hours.
"The drug that was used on the girl is such that it leads to memory loss. It is the rape drug that is massively used in nightclubs in Albania and Kosovo, it is the GBH drug. It is an odorless, odorless drug and can be taken in alcohol. The effect starts after 15-20 minutes, the girl said that at the end she was given a glass of alcohol and after that she lost consciousness. After 3-4 hours, the patient loses consciousness completely and may even go into a coma. If she was unconscious, she was unable to defend herself. If it is not caught within the first 24 hours, it is eliminated very quickly, it does not show up in the test", explained toxicology.
