Sylvinho has renewed his contract with the AFL until December 2025 and will be in charge of the team in the next edition of the League of Nations, as well as in the qualifiers for the 2026 World Cup.
The latter is a taboo for the representative team and necessarily remains the main objective.
After qualifying for the European, undoubtedly, participating in such a major tournament as the World Cup would be a great achievement for everyone, the technical staff, the players, the federation and anyone who contributes to the realization of such an achievement.
The renewal of coach Sylvinho and his staff, consisting of Dorival and Zabaleta, was also accompanied by a salary increase.
If the previous contract was worth 1.1 million euros, from which 750 thousand euros benefited the coach and the rest was allocated to the assistants, now the figure is higher.
The total value of the new contract is around 1.5 million euros. From this figure, 1 million euros will benefit coach Sylvinho and 500 thousand euros will be divided between Dorival and Zabaleta.
As in the previous contract, the staff will receive a significant bonus if the target of qualifying for the 2026 World Cup is achieved.
