Igli Tare, the former sporting director of Lazio, has spoken to Sky Sport, touching on various topics of Italian football and the market, starting with his possible return:
"I don't know, I don't miss the desire, of course I don't miss it. I want to rush for anything, it has to be something that has meaning that can stimulate me, but the desire is certainly there.”
Milan targets Salzburg's Pavlovic. Do you know him well? "It's not like I just know him well. We had signed the player but he failed the medical, with our doctor not giving the green light. And he returned to Salzburg. I know him well, he can play both three and four defense. He has an educated foot and a lot of goals from standard shots."
During his time at Lazio, Tare had spoken highly of Khephren Thuram. What do you think of Juventus' new signing?
"He will be the surprise of the Italian championship. He has everything to become a top level player. I was surprised that the big teams in Europe didn't think about him and I congratulate Juventus. He can still grow a lot, he does both phases and is a top-class midfielder."
Can he get stronger than Rabiot? "I would be unfair, Rabiot has had an important career and they are different players. Thuram can play any role in midfield, they are different. If he had the career that Rabiot had, I would be happy, because I would have won a lot."
